OpenRoad adds residential real estate division

OpenRoad Auto Group is expanding from the highway to the neighborhood.

British Columbia's largest auto dealer group announced last week that it has a launched a residential real estate division: OpenForm Properties.

The company’s new residential development division has also unveiled its first multi-family project, called E15 Just off Main, which will be a development of 49 townhomes in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood of Vancouver.

Completion of the project’s first units is scheduled for early 2023. Presale begins soon. The development’s presentation center was set to open last week for appointments.

“At OpenForm Properties, we believe that your home should be your greatest destination,” OpenForm Properties president Norm Shearing said in a news release. “Each and every time our customers arrive home, we want them to radiate a sense of pride and achievement. We aspire to achieve that with E15 as our first development, and hope our customers will cherish their greatest destination in all our future homes.”

OpenForm Properties said it is also developing plans for a high-rise residential development near Metrotown, located on the site of OpenRoad Honda Burnaby upon completion on the new Honda store on Marine Way in Burnaby.
